The Pikes Peak Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America, Inc. (EGA) is a non-profit organization devoted to educating and promoting the highest standards in the design and technique in needlework. Membership is open to all persons regardless of sex, race, color, religion, national or ethic origin or level of needlework accomplishment. The Pikes Peak Chapter received it’s own charter on January 15, 1975.
The monthly meeting is held on the second Saturday of every month (excluding July and August) from 9:00 am to noon at the Central United Methodist Church, 4373 Galley Rd., Colorado Springs. Sometimes, depending upon church activities, our location may change. Please contact us if you would like to join us at a meeting.
The Pikes Peak Chapter produces a monthly newsletter, Stitchin’ Around the Peak. Monthly meetings, excluding the summer months, include a general business meeting as well as a project class or demonstration. An active education chair provides the local members with additional seminars and opportunities for learning. The annual fund raising function is an auction of donated needlework.
